During his stays in Brittany, Youssef Ishaghpour produced more than 10,000 photographs. A selection of these photographs are presented in five albums in thematic and poetic units: Near and far; Trees; Greaves, rocks and sea; At the beginning; Cloud and wind.
The vertical format of the photographs is reminiscent of ancient Chinese or Persian paintings.
Youssef Ishaghpour's photographic works have been exhibited in Tours (Château) and Marseille (Centre international de Poésie).
BOOKS
Near and far
The photographs were taken in the Côtes-d'Armor (Saint-Cast, Le Guido, Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer, Cap Fréhel, Erquy, Ploumanac'h, Trégastel), between September 2001 and September 2002, in periods of the year and days when emptiness and silence, rare in these very frequented regions, made it possible to be open to the mystery of the landscapes.
